Rainbows of Past

I was just sitting on a chaffed plastic chair,
one day, with no thought in my mind
I wasn't a-happy, nor i were sad.
Some pensiveness engulfed me here,
where the peripheries of memories which i can't even pass,
Rainbows of past... Rainbows of past.

I remembered one college day of mine,
Beautiful, hilarious, unproductive, bad and teaching.
All the faces ran across my sight,
as if it were the moment of truth... for me.
I felt if i have lived my life in a cast,
Rainbows of past... Rainbows of past.

NOt to call it love, nor attraction,
it wasn't nothing near to lust neither was it infatuation.
Her deep oceanic eyes that have sunken me,
I can't breath in anymore, I am delusional and stupefied.
The commemoration of her bloody red smile,
blinded my vision to see the future.
The west wind that had gushed her hair on her face
and has sent my present for a blast.
Rainbows of past... Rainbows of past.

It has made me captive for quite a while now,
don't know what i am gonna do now, now...
How to release this pricking of my heart?
What had happened was just so fast and,
what hadn't happened and what i couldn't make happen,
what didn't let me go was an un-extracted clast.
Rainbows of past... Rainbows of past.

Just roll with it

When you have everything to lose,
and you hold on to something dear.
You lose everything that was once friend to you,
that you thought mattered and indispensable to you,
What you do? What you do?
You just roll with it,
you just roll with it, you just roll with it.

When you see her in a supermarket,
right beside you at a billing counter.
You fall in love at the first site of her. But,
You can't say anything coz you are so polite.
What you do? What you do?
You just roll with it,
you just roll with it, you just roll with it.

When you are at a stranger's town for the first time,
with no money in your pocket nor a dime.
And you have lost the only phone number you had,
of an old friend, who could help you,
to recover from this slime.
What you do? What you do?
You just roll with it,
you just roll with it, you just roll with it.

Now you are on your own,
with enough pride in you to not go back home,
you call your mother and say "maa i am fine"
when you are living in a dump and
barely survived a famine this time,
What you do? What you do?
You just roll with it,
you just roll with it, you just roll with it.

oh you do what you have to
and you just roll with it...
you just roll with it...
you just roll with it.
